Application Engineer 2 will solve real-world problems using AI to solve Bloom's two sigma problem. As a Lead AI Systems Engineer (Level 2), you'll be the both architect and build intelligent workflows (automation and agentic) that transform how students learn and engage, empowering them to both learn faster and achieve higher ability.

01. Advanced AI System Architecture:
- Design and implement both linear and non-linear solutions through workflows and complex multi-agent systems.
- Architect Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG) systems that enhance LLM performance with domain-specific knowledge in chat, voice, and video domains.
- Optimize AI systems for performance, reliability, and fault tolerance.
02. Technical Leadership:
- Lead the technical implementation of AI features and provide guidance to Level 1 engineers
- Evaluate and implement fine-tuning (where required) to optimize both cost and latency.
- Develop benchmarking frameworks to compare different LLM capabilities across model families
03. Cross-functional Collaboration to identify opportunities for AI systems
- Lead knowledge extraction sessions with Subject Matter Experts across multiple domains
- Work me SMEs to translate and break down complex technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders
04. Planning and Evaluation:
- Design robust evaluation frameworks with quantitative metrics for AI system performance, mitigating biases along the way.
- Estimate resources and timeline requirements for complex AI implementation projects
- Break down large initiatives into manageable components for the engineering team
05. Innovation & Research:
- Stay current with the latest advancements in AI and LLMs
- Prototype new approaches for improving student learning experiences
- Contribute to the company's intellectual property through innovative AI solutions

You're perfect for this role if:
- You have at least one year of experience (3-5 years overall experience) in implementing AI solutions in production environments
- You've architected end-to-end AI workflows that demonstrate measurable impact
- You can mentor junior AI engineers and elevate the technical capabilities of the team
- You demonstrate strong communication skills and can translate complex technical concepts
- You have deep knowledge of LLM capabilities and optimization techniques
